HIV/AIDS Prevention Specialist

AIDS Network is searching for a Prevention Specialist focusing in the African American community. The position will provide HIV harm reduction services throughout AIDS Network’s service area, targeting individuals at high risk of acquiring or of transmitting HIV infection as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and the State of Wisconsin AIDS/HIV Program. Qualified applicants will have experience working with or knowledge of the issues facing men of color who have sex with other men. It will also include general prevention work, such as HIV and Hepatitis C testing and counseling, clean syringe exchange and collaborating with local organizations that provide services to these high risk populations.
