What We Do

Legal Services provides advocacy and legal consultation to people affected by HIV and AIDS in South Central Wisconsin.  We also provide information to individuals and groups with legal questions concerning HIV/AIDS.

Some of our cases are referred to outside attorneys who offer their services for free or at a reduced-rate.  This depends on the nature of the case, the expertise of our staff, current resources, and the availability of outside attorneys.

 Types of Issues

Estate Planning, Landlord/Tenant, Housing, Debtor/Creditor, Bankruptcy, Consumer, confidentiality, Health Benefits, Public Benefits,  Family Law, Civil Law, Civil Rights, and Employment.

We are unable to accept traffic and criminal matters.  Because of our limited resources, your issue may exceed our ability to assist you, as well as our familiarity in a certain area of law.  If so, we may be able to connect you with a private attorney who can assist you for free or at a reduced-rate.
